Suspect Arrested In Vehicle Break-Ins

Authorities have arrested one person in connection with a number of vehicle break-ins that recently occurred in the county and are searching for another suspect.
Daniel Steven Hamilton, 20, of Davidson County is facing six counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, three counts of misdemeanor larceny, and one count of financial card fraud and financial card theft. More charges are possible.
“He wasn’t acting alone, and there is sure to be more charges to follow,” said Davie Sheriff’s Department Detective Sgt. Scot Kimel.
Hamilton was arrested around 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 by Davidson officials after they found him hiding inside his home.
Hamilton resides in Davidson County but has also lived in Elon and Davie County, according to Kimel.
